Pastor Carl Addison - Psalm 139:14
We must understand that our child is like no other. He or she was born with unique abilities, with a unique personality and with unique ways of responding to situations. Guess what? God knows this because He, as the Creator, divinely created them all; each one different and each one special. The difficulty, many times for parents, is looking beyond our own expectations, frustrations, and disappointments to see the beauty, wonder and potential of our child. Our task is to place them in a position to soar to the heights he or she was created to be and not to flop, falter, ,andd flutter in the role we wish he or she would take on.

The response of hearing God's Word did not end with emotion and celebration. Some days later theye opened God's Book again and it resulted in congregational and individual confession. Their hearts were rendered bare by the power of the Word as it exposed the wrongs of the heart or, as Hebrews 4:12 states, "it judged the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Ever thougth about the cleansing and freeing act of confession? I mean really coming clean before God and making things right and squaring things with Him and others. Nehemiah 9 makes clcear there is power in confession.
